Registration as an investment adviser does not imply a particular level of skill or training and does not constitute an endorsement, approval, or verification by any regulator.

Information on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes. It does not constitute personalized investment advice, financial planning advice, tax advice, accounting advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or adopt any investment strategy.
Website content does not consider your individual circumstances. Investment advice is provided only under a written advisory agreement and after consideration of the client’s objectives, circumstances, risk tolerance, and other relevant information.
Reviewing the Site, submitting an inquiry, scheduling a meeting, or contacting Benevolent Planning does not create an advisory or client relationship.
Benevolent Planning offers the following advisory services:
Ongoing Wealth Management integrates portfolio management, financial planning, tax strategy, and personal retirement planning. Portfolio management is provided exclusively as part of Ongoing Wealth Management and is not available as a stand-alone service or through One-Time Planning.
When portfolio management is included in the engagement, Benevolent Planning provides discretionary investment management based on each client’s goals, time horizon, risk capacity, risk tolerance, and agreed investment restrictions. Strategic asset allocation is the primary driver of portfolio construction and risk management. Portfolios may use a core-satellite structure combining diversified, low-cost index funds with targeted tactical, factor, diversifying, or opportunistic allocations.
Benevolent Planning may advise on stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, U.S. government securities, municipal securities, cash and cash equivalents, real estate investment trusts, commodities, options, derivatives, and other investments when appropriate. Services are tailored to the client’s circumstances and may include ongoing monitoring, periodic meetings, coordination, and implementation support.
One-Time Planning is a limited-scope engagement that may address one or more financial planning topics. It does not include portfolio management, continuous monitoring, or ongoing support unless separately agreed in writing.
Benevolent Planning provides retirement plan consulting and management services to plan sponsors. When expressly appointed in writing, Benevolent Planning may serve as an ERISA Section 3(21) investment fiduciary or Section 3(38) investment manager. The scope of services and fiduciary status are controlled by the applicable written agreement.
For information about Benevolent Planning’s current advisory fees and pricing, please visit our Pricing page. The fees applicable to each client are set forth in the client’s written advisory agreement.
Benevolent Planning generally requires at least $1,000,000 in investable assets for an ongoing wealth management relationship. The minimum may be negotiable based on the scope and circumstances of the relationship. One-time planning engagements have no asset minimum.
All investments involve risk, including possible loss of principal. No investment strategy, financial plan, asset allocation, or planning approach can guarantee a profit, prevent a loss, or achieve a particular result. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Material risks may include market risk, strategy risk, interest-rate risk, inflation risk, tax risk, liquidity risk, concentration risk, correlation risk, turnover risk, company-size risk, legal or legislative risk, and risks specific to stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, real estate investment trusts, commodities, options, derivatives, and other securities.
Diversification and asset allocation do not ensure a profit or protect against loss. Tactical adjustments, tax-loss harvesting, rebalancing, and other techniques may not produce their intended results and may create transaction costs, tax consequences, or additional risks.
Tax planning provided by Benevolent Planning is planning and advisory work. WealthAdvisor365 does not prepare or file tax returns or provide IRS representation. Clients remain responsible for filing and should consult their qualified tax and legal professionals regarding their circumstances.
Tax preparation may be offered to advisory clients through Tampa Tax Consulting, an affiliated accounting firm owned and operated by Benevolent Planning’s owner and Chief Compliance Officer, Cayden McLaughlin. Tampa Tax Consulting is a separate business and charges separate fees for its services.
This affiliation creates a conflict of interest because Mr. McLaughlin receives compensation for tax preparation services provided by Tampa Tax Consulting. Clients are not required to use Tampa Tax Consulting. A client’s decision whether to use Tampa Tax Consulting does not affect the client’s advisory relationship with Benevolent Planning, and comparable tax services may be available from other providers.
Benevolent Planning recommends Altruist as a qualified custodian and brokerage platform. Altruist is independent of Benevolent Planning and is an SEC-registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC.
Benevolent Planning evaluates custodians using factors that include execution and custody capabilities, available investments, technology, service quality, pricing, reputation, financial strength, security, and stability. Best execution is evaluated based on the overall quality of execution and services, not solely on the lowest commission or transaction cost.
Benevolent Planning does not have a formal soft-dollar arrangement. However, Altruist provides software, account-access technology, trading and allocation tools, fee-payment facilitation, back-office support, recordkeeping, business development services, technology support, and discounted access to certain vendors. These benefits reduce expenses Benevolent Planning might otherwise incur and create a conflict of interest because they provide an incentive to recommend Altruist. Benevolent Planning addresses this conflict by evaluating its custodian recommendation in light of client needs and periodically reviewing the factors supporting that recommendation.
Benevolent Planning does not receive client referrals from Altruist, another custodian, a broker-dealer, or another third party in exchange for using their services. Benevolent Planning does not compensate non-supervised persons for client referrals.
Clients may direct Benevolent Planning to use another custodian. Directed brokerage or use of a custodian outside Benevolent Planning’s recommended platform may result in higher costs, less favorable execution, reduced ability to aggregate orders, operational limitations, or less favorable pricing.
Benevolent Planning generally implements trades separately for each client account and does not aggregate client orders into block trades. As a result, clients may receive different prices or transaction costs for the same security.
Benevolent Planning does not maintain physical custody of client funds or securities. Benevolent Planning is deemed to have custody solely because it may deduct advisory fees directly from client accounts when authorized in writing.
Client assets are maintained with a qualified custodian. The custodian sends account statements to clients at least quarterly showing account holdings and transactions, including advisory fee deductions. Clients should carefully review custodial statements, verify advisory fees, compare custodial statements with any reports provided by Benevolent Planning, and promptly report discrepancies.
For investment management clients, Benevolent Planning generally exercises discretionary authority under the client’s written advisory agreement and Investment Policy Statement. This authority permits Benevolent Planning to determine which securities to buy or sell and the amount of each transaction without obtaining advance approval for every trade.
Clients may request reasonable written investment restrictions. Benevolent Planning will consider such requests and implement agreed restrictions when operationally manageable.
Benevolent Planning maintains a Code of Ethics reflecting its fiduciary obligation to place client interests first. A copy is available to clients and prospective clients upon request.
Benevolent Planning personnel may invest in securities that are the same as or different from securities recommended to clients. This creates potential conflicts of interest. Benevolent Planning addresses these conflicts through personal-trading restrictions, preclearance requirements for certain transactions, transaction reporting, recordkeeping, and Chief Compliance Officer oversight. Client transactions must not be disadvantaged or subordinated to personal transactions.
Benevolent Planning does not vote client proxies. Clients retain responsibility for voting proxies and acting on corporate actions. Proxy materials are generally delivered directly by the account custodian. Clients may contact Benevolent Planning with questions or to request its opinion concerning a particular proxy matter.
Benevolent Planning and its management persons have not been involved in legal or disciplinary events that are material to a client’s or prospective client’s evaluation of the advisory business or the integrity of its management.
Benevolent Planning has not been the subject of a bankruptcy petition during the past ten years and does not have a financial condition reasonably likely to impair its ability to meet contractual commitments to clients.
Benevolent Planning’s current Form ADV Part 2A Firm Brochure contains detailed information about its services, fees, investment practices, conflicts of interest, brokerage practices, custody, and disciplinary history. It is available through the Investment Adviser Public Disclosure website at https://adviserinfo.sec.gov/ using firm identification number 328400 and is also available from Benevolent Planning upon request.
The Form ADV Part 2B Brochure Supplement for Cayden McLaughlin contains information about his education, business experience, professional designations, outside business activities, disciplinary history, and supervision. It is available from Benevolent Planning upon request and is delivered when required.
